Understanding tokens is crucial for successful prompting with any model and output type. Tokens refer to the individual components of our prompt, such as letters, words, or short phrases, that are understood by the model and used in generating responses.
However, most tools lack the ability to help us comprehend how these prompt tokens are utilized. We only see the results and must adapt without clear visibility into the inner workings.
One of the reasons I believe Midjourney remains the top choice for professionals is the control we have over prompting. The Shorten command, in particular, is seriously one of my favorite AI features.
